Dulcie has painted Wilkinkarra, the great salt lake (Lake Mackay) far to the south of Balgo, deep in the Great Sandy Desert. Through loose brushwork and fine dotting, Dulcie depicts the claypans, salt lakes and sandhills of her country. She also paints the many small wildflowers and bushfoods found here. Here, Dulcie represents her family's traditional country, it's heritage and it's life giving gifts.
